1. Casual Event Assistant (Part-Time)

The Role

We’re looking for enthusiastic events staff to join our team on a casual basis to assist with our Candle Pouring Workshops.

This role involves helping with event setup, assisting guests during workshops, providing support in capturing content and ensuring every participant has an enjoyable experience.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in fast-paced event settings, and has a positive, can-do attitude.

Full training will be provided upon successful appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with setup and breakdown of event space.
  • Welcome guests and help create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
  • Guide participants through basic workshop steps and answer questions.
  • Prepare materials and supplies for workshops.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout events.
  • Support with games and demonstrations throughout the event.
  • Capture content for social media content when required.

About You

  • Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills.
  • Comfortable engaging with groups and providing hands-on assistance.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • Previous experience in events, hospitality, retail, or customer service is a plus (but not required).

We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is a varied role combining digital marketing, content creation, and in-store customer experience. You’ll play a key part in bringing our brand to life both online and in person.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage engaging social media content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
  • Assist with planning and executing email marketing campaigns
  • Support the creation of visual and written content for Facebook and social media ads
  • Help brainstorm and develop creative marketing ideas and campaigns
  • Work in-store on a weekly basis, delivering a warm, friendly, and premium customer experience
  • Build strong relationships with customers and represent the brand confidently
  • Assist with general marketing tasks and brand development projects as needed

About You

  • Creative with a strong eye for aesthetics and detail.
  • Comfortable creating social media content (photo, video, captions)
  • Familiar with email marketing platforms (or willing to learn)
  • Confident, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys interacting with customers
